ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract Submission Deadline: March 31, 2026
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Abstracts will only be accepted through the online abstract submission system available on the congress website. Abstracts sent by mail or fax will not be evaluated.
- Registration through the online system is required before submitting an abstract.
- Abstracts submitted to the congress may be presented in Turkish or English.
- A confirmation of receipt will be sent electronically to the submitting authors.
- Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Congress Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee will decide on the acceptance of the abstracts, their suitability for presentation at the congress, and the presentation format.
- In order for abstracts to be published in the Abstract Book, the presenting author must complete the congress registration process.
- Among the full-text posters presented at the congress, those uploaded to the system of Farabi Medical Journal (a national peer-reviewed journal indexed in EBSCO and other international indexes) and accepted following the journal’s peer-review process will be published in the first issue released after the congress.
ABSTRACT PREPARATION GUIDELINES
- The congress languages are Turkish and English.
- The abstract text must not exceed 300 words (excluding title, author names, institutional information, and keywords).
- Abstracts must be prepared in Times New Roman, 12-point font size, with 1.5 line spacing.
- The abstract title should reflect the content, be concise, and contain no abbreviations. The first letter of each word in the title must be capitalized.
- Academic titles must not be used in author names. Names should be written in lowercase letters with only the first letter capitalized.
- The names and addresses of the authors’ institutions (university name, faculty/department, city, and country) must be clearly stated.
- The abstract must be clear in terms of content and scope.
- If abbreviations are used in the abstract, they must be defined in parentheses at first mention.
- For original research abstracts, the text must be structured under the following headings:
- Introduction
- Objective
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Conclusion and Recommendations
- For case report abstracts, the text must be structured under the following headings:
- Introduction
- Objective
- Case(s)
- Conclusion and Recommendations
- Keywords must consist of at least 3 and at most 5 words.
- Abstracts must be uploaded in Word format.
ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
- Oral presentations may be delivered in Turkish or English by the presenting author.
- All presentations will be delivered according to the order specified in the congress program. Session details will be communicated to the authors.
- Abstracts that are not presented at the congress will not be published in the abstract book.
- A digital copy of the presentation file must be checked before the session start time and delivered to the staff member in the presentation hall.
- The duration of oral presentations is 7 minutes:
- 5 minutes for presentation
- 2 minutes for discussion
- The names of all authors must be included in the first slide of the presentation.
- The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
- Presentation slides should include the following sections:
- Introduction and Background (1 slide)
- Objective (1 slide)
- Materials and Methods (2 slides)
- Results (2 slides)
- Conclusion (1 slide)
- References (1 slide)
- Important references should appear on the final slide.
- It is recommended that presentations do not exceed 10 slides, including the title and acknowledgment slides, and that slide numbers be added to all slides.
- The PowerPoint template to be used for presentations can be downloaded from the congress website.
POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
- Posters will be presented in printed format.
- Poster design may be prepared in:
- Vertical 16:9 format, or
- 70 cm width × 100 cm height
- The option to upload the poster abstract (PDF) will be communicated to authors via email after the peer-review process.

- The PDF file size must be smaller than 10 MB.
ABSTRACT EVALUATION PROCESS
- The Scientific Committee of the congress will also serve as the review board. Abstracts will be evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process.
- Following the review process, abstracts may be accepted, rejected, or returned to authors for revision if necessary.
- Accepted abstracts will be presented at the congress.
- During submission, authors may indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation. However, the final decision regarding the presentation format will be made by the Congress Scientific Committee.
- All correspondence regarding submitted abstracts will be conducted with the author who uploaded the abstract to the system.
